Retrospective Series: A Look Back, Part 10

Part 10 marks the years I had the privilege of getting to know my clients on a deeper, longer-term basis. With the ability to focus on fewer projects, I was able to provide more hands-on expertise and personalized service. This shift gave me more time to build strong relationships and allowed for greater attention to quality control, ensuring every detail—from printing to assembling and shipping—was executed perfectly.

Letterpress save the dates, belly band, wheat - New York
“save our new date” bands wrap around Megan's save the dates to announce a major change. The band is intended to be disposed so that when guests look at this save the date it will be the only save the date that exists in their minds. They'll remember the deep bite of the letterpress, the simplicity of the design, and the paper's heavy-weight, creamy stock. I am whole-heartedly in love with the craft and design of this piece.

Tooka & Wassim’s show stopping save the dates have landed! What a blast these were, I’m envious of the guests who get to open these babies. Inside the copper envelopes you’ll find a two-piece save the date. First piece: A gorgeous shot of the lovely couple on one side. On the other, their story is told with a parade of characters which illustrate their storyboard. Printed with a copper sheen that shimmers in the light.

In these years, a clear favorite format emerged: the tri-fold cover with pockets and a mounted invite. This design offers the perfect balance—creative expression on the cover while keeping the invite clean and legible. The pockets provide a practical, organized space for essential details. Staying consistent with previous years and our trademark, each project was Read the rest.
