During my six weeks away from wedding stationery I wanted to reconnect with one of my first loves: painting. It felt great to engage with paint again, on large scale pieces, it was absolutely liberating. It’s hard to describe the effect painting has on my brain: it’s aggravating and healing all at the same time, like brain-yoga.
I’m not 100% certain where my painting journey will lead. I know it’s helped me decompress after a tough year. I hope I’ll be serious about making time to do it for myself in 2022. I would love to be painting for a living 50/50 with wedding stationery, that’s the dream.
I’m revived for 2022 and ready to dive back into weddings!

Part 10 marks the years I had the privilege of getting to know my clients on a deeper, longer-term basis. With the ability to focus on fewer projects, I was able to provide more hands-on expertise and personalized service.
