March 2021’s Projects

March started with the promise of Spring.

spring card wood-block jolly edition
I took influences from woodblock art, mixed with a dash of Kew Gardens poster design, based the garden itself off of the local Longwood Gardens in Maryland to deliver our own spring poster design.
jenny & brian classic save the date greenery jolly edition
I'm in love with this save the date for Jenny & Brian šŸ˜ The double-sided design struck the perfect balance of formal, charming and celebratory. These save the dates are a perfect way to announce and introduce their big day and Iā€™m so excited for more to come!
wedding invitation ribbon & wax stamps assembly jolly edition stationery
When it's assembly day, I clean & clear everything off my desk, put on a good, long series that I know & love, and dig in for a long day of handling beautiful materials. This was dreamy assembly day for J & E's save the dates. They had hand-dyed blue ribbons affixed with a drop of white wax. Not pictured are the accompanying envelopes, closed with a second wax-seal. I applied their usps stamps, and hand-delivered to the post office for optimum quality control.
christina
This had been a long-time project! It started vaguely as an idea Christina brought to me when her and her Rhys were thinking a baby might be in their future. Well, it's now a reality and their original illustrations are here for someoneā€™s very special arrival to the world šŸ—ŗ
postcard change the dates
Kate & Nick's save the dates went out in January, unfortunately their wedding date changed after that. No problem! I responded with a quick alteration to the content and sent new prints out as economically as possible in the form of small postcard change the dates. Crisis averted.
