January 2020’s Projects

Starting the year off with some personal projects. Working with clients pushes me forward and keeps me on my toes. To keep up that momentum, sometimes I need to clear the cobwebs with projects that are unconnected with the expectation of client work to focus on play. Below are a handful of projects I’ve made for fun to clear my mind and re-focus my energy.

Caribbean illustration family portrait
This is a family portrait for a couple who just opened a beach bar down in the Caribbean. I wanted to create a portrait that was more about their experience rather than about likeness.
plant lady illustration
Britt is both a cat lady and a plant lady. I wanted to celebrate both in this ode to her happy place.
family portrait illustration
A more traditional family portrait that is all personality.
family portrait illustration
Love birds.
family portrait illustration girl dog
These two cuties.
family portrait illustration girl and her dog
This kid might be too cool for me.
poodle doodle
