July 2017’s Projects

We threw all our best ideas into July’s projects, many of which included spectacular formats and embellishments. Die cutting, hand deckling, letterpress, fancy sparkly envelope liners, luxury paper, accordion-folding maps, gold foil printing — July had it all.

Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 dusty pink wedding invitation, square fold out format, clasp enclosure, Israeli wedding
We made one of our favorite suits of the year in a new format for us; a square fold-out piece that reminds us of a present. Kathleen and Yonatan are getting married at the groom's beautiful family home in Israel, complete with oranges, olive trees and lavender. We love the contrast between the cover's solid dusty pink color with the delicate watercolor illustrations on bright white.

Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 Sonoma wedding invitation, letterpress hand-torn edges, cover wrap with blind embossing of venue Chateau St. Jean
Another stunner is Kelsey and Foster's wedding invites. It's a beautiful, tactile set that is letter pressed on soft, textured paper with gold ink and hand-torn edges. The cover wrap has a blind embossed imprint of their venue, Chateau St. Jean and wraps around their invitation, map of Sonoma and their simple RSVP.
Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 tropical, fun wedding invitation, palms, Gray Malin inspired invitation set, invite, wedding map, brunch card, bonfire card.
Shelly's Gray Malin inspired invitation set. The saloon door fold out format with center mounted wedding invitation, side pockets that hold her wedding map, brunch card, and bonfire card.
Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 wedding invitation, postcard, menu, thank you card, provincial french wedding, soft blues
Annick asked us for a romantic invitation suite to match the understated beauty of her Italian hilltop wedding. We created her invitation, postcard featuring their hilltop ceremony space, menu, and thank you card.
Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 fairy-tale illustrated wedding invitation
Sara asked us to create a book-fold wedding invitation with a cover that looks like a fairy-tale to introduce her fairy-tale wedding set in Croatia. Inside opens to a map of Dubrovnik spread across three pages.
Jolly Edition Blog Post July 2017 wedding invitation, fold-out invitation, gold foil letterpress, autumnal burgundy, wines, dahlias.
A bold autumnal invitation fold-out for Allie & Jake complete with gold foil letterpress, deep burgundies, wines, and dahlias. We were able to provide an invitation, order of events, details card and rsvp in one fold out piece. Along with a very cute cameo from the couple's white furry pup.

February 6, 2020

Starting the year off with some personal projects. Working with clients pushes me forward and keeps me on my toes. December 2019’s Projects

January 7, 2020

The last month of the year deserves a brief retrospective and if there’s one thing that sticks out to me about 2019, it’s the increasing demand for crests that depict the nuances of the combined personality of each couple + each wedding. I’m featuring a collection of standout crests from the past year.
