We threw all our best ideas into July’s projects, many of which included spectacular formats and embellishments. Die cutting, hand deckling, letterpress, fancy sparkly envelope liners, luxury paper, accordion-folding maps, gold foil printing — July had it all.
Starting the year off with some personal projects. Working with clients pushes me forward and keeps me on my toes. To keep up that momentum, sometimes I need to clear the cobwebs with projects that are unconnected with the expectation of client work to focus on play. The last month of the year deserves a brief retrospective and if there’s one thing that sticks out to me about 2019, it’s the increasing demand for crests that depict the nuances of the combined personality of each couple + each wedding. I’m featuring a collection of standout crests from the past year.

Claire and Howard’s project was so versatile and fully fleshed out that I’m only publishing it now that the big day has come and gone. The aesthetic ranges from formal and elegant wedding day related pieces to the more playful, painterly gifts and accent pieces. It’s an extensive project that I’m proud to have in Read the rest.
