Blog Post December 2016 tri-fold, mounted invitation with patterns, and metallics by Laura Shema
Asya came to us with one of the most interesting ways to describe her wedding "It’s as if many years ago Indiana Jones disappeared. Recently, explorers stumbled across an old house in the middle of the woods. When they opened it up they realized it was his home, full of all these treasures he collected over his many adventures." We envisioned this invitation as a long lost journal, the invite is mounted onto the cover, and in the right panel is a pocket which holds an RSVP and illustrated map of her wedding cites. We liked the cover feeling like an old wallpaper design, the mix of metallic envelopes emphasized this eclectic aesthetic, and we kept the text design simple and anachronistic. In the pattern there is a hidden raptor and a hidden panda, the spirit animals for Asya and Jason.
