October’s Projects

We were very flattered to be featured in the Fall-Winter edition of Charleston Weddings this month. They asked to use our Charleston Map (now available in four sizes!) to promote their beautiful city and the weddings that take place there all year, such is the warm climate of The Palmetto State.

We also got to meet work with some of our wedding buddies, event planner Jenna Shellhammer (of Pop the Cork Designs) and wedding photographer Natalie Franke (of Natalie Franke Photography). We designed a custom stationery suite — now available for purchase — for a grand Carnival theme wedding shoot. Ruffled picked it up, it was great to see such a huge group effort come together so beautifully. Fellow Maryland wedding venders included My Flower Box Events, Poppy and Scooter, and Adora Wedding Films.

As for the projects we’ve been working on this month, we’ve been as busy as ever with custom design for clients of all kinds, with illustration by Natalie Adkins, Emma Block, Elizabeth Graeber, and Katie Wilson.

Whitney and Dan's custom wedding stationery design by Jolly Edition — Whitney and Dan's project drew to a close with a flourish this month, beautifully topped off with a fern vignette rehearsal dinner invitation. The illustration was, as ever, beautifully provided by Katie Wilson.

Kelli & Dan's custom save the date design by Jolly Edition — Kelli and Dan's San Miguel heart save the date came together beautifully with this graphic treatment of their Mexican-inspired stationery. Natalie Adkins did a great job with the illustration.

Darcy and Rob's custom wedding stationery design by Jolly Edition — Darcy and Rob's project came to its conclusion after nearly a year of work. The format of their gate-fold invitation was a particular highlight , capturing a hint of the beautiful blue ridge mountain backdrop of their Virginian celebration.

Alyson's custom holiday card by Jolly Edition — Alyson asked us to produce a custom moving announcement that worked as a holiday card in celebration of their move from Washington D.C. to Georgia. Elizabeth Graeber's trademark uniqueness hit the spot.

Brit and Russ' custom save the date design by Jolly Edition — Brit and Russ are marrying on Martha’s Vineyard next year. They provided a fun challenge fitting their disparate ingredients into a cohesive save the date design which didn't give too much away before we defined what the invitation and accompanying stationery was to look like. We loved the sweeping waves we used in their single-color design.
